Nicole Bridger’s eco friendly collection is being touted as one of the ‘ones to watch’ at the upcoming BC Fashion Week. Her collection plays with shape and detail, each piece balancing offbeat basics with a mild avant garde undertone.
Bridger’s fashion tour begain with an apprenticeship with Vivienne Westwood, the Queen of Punk design and one of the most important designers of the 20th century. She then returned home to Vancouver and hooked up with Chip Wilson, founder of Lululemon, to co-create the organic and sustainable clothing brand OQOQO (pronounced OhKoKo). Having learned the ins and outs of sustainability she’s now launched her own self-titled line, Nicole Bridger.
